This piece builds on a procedural fish animation and focuses on post-processing and compositing through TouchDesigner. A custom render pass from the original animation was used as the input for blob tracking, allowing motion within the scene to be analyzed and translated into graphic overlay elements such as boxes and lines.
Those tracking overlays were combined with a stylized layer generated using Ditherboy, adding texture and abstraction to the image. All layers were then composited together in TouchDesigner, blending data-driven visuals with generative processing while preserving the underlying motion and flow of the animation.
The project explores the overlap between data visualization and digital art, using analytical tools as a creative driver rather than a purely technical one.
